Meet Aspen

Meet Aspen! Aspen is a very sweet guy who loves attention! He has been good with kids, good with other dogs, loves to snuggle with dogs and cats alike. Aspen’s best good friend is his foster fur brother, they are best pals and even nap together sometimes. Aspen loves to run and play, and is extremely food motivated. While Aspen does well with cats he does sometimes chase after cats that run. He’s not out to eat the cat, he just thinks chasing is a fun game.

Aspen loves giving big kisses right on your face and will mischievously steal your shoe or socks give the opportunity, he just doesn’t want you to foster he’s thinking of you.

Aspen has a bit of anxiety and can be vocal when expressing his discomfort or displeasure. While Aspen is crate trained when he’s home alone and anxious he can be quite the escape artist. Aspen isn’t a fan of the rain, so will need some encouragement to learn to be a proper Oregonian (or Washingtonian as the case may be).

With good leadership and training, we are sure he would be a great family dog or a work buddy.
