Meet Nani

Nani is a sweet little dog that enjoys a good movie with her human or chasing her favorite squeaky toy around the living room. She is getting the hang of walking on a leash and enjoys a nice stroll through the neighborhood especially when squirrels are part of the scenery. Apparently her main job is to let the squirrels know she’s outside! As her self-confidence grows by the day, she just gets more lovable.

Nani currently is in a foster home with a large adult cat. She calmly stares at him through the doggie gate wagging her tail and he hisses at her from the other side. He’s a very welcoming kind of roommate! She is playful and curious but listens and follows a few commands. I believe she would love a backyard to run and play in, but she has adapted to my condominium just fine. She sleeps in her crate with minimal protest and patiently waits to go outside for a potty break. With some coaxing and patience, bath time hasn’t been a problem either. Nani does well riding in the car and enjoys outings.

If you’d like a cuddly friend with the prettiest brown eyes who loves to be wherever you are, Nani would be a great addition to a loving home. Did I mention a doggie treat is always met with a dainty “sit” and often a doggie “thank you” kiss? 🐶
