Meet Parker

Hi, I’m Parker and playing with toys and other dogs are two of my very favorite things! I can be a bit of a shy guy at first so it will be important to take it slow with me initially. My foster says I do warm-up quickly though and before long I will be wanting ALL the pets and snuggles. I am currently being fostered with another dog which has boosted my confidence. We love to play and snuggle with each other. I have also had a little experience around cats and have done just fine. My foster has already taught me to sit and watch so I am a smart guy eager to learn.

Ideally a home without young children would be best as they move so fast and make me a little nervous. Someone who is home a lot would be great for me. I am still very young so I will need an owner that is dedicated to my training and socialization. It will be important for me to have lots of opportunities to socialize with humans and four-legged friends. I will need a bit of training on leash walking as well. I am mostly potty trained, but you will need to show me the routine in my new home. I sleep silently in my crate and travel nicely when crated in the car. I do need encouragement initially to get in the crate but once I am in, I am quite comfortable and sleep through the night!
