Meet Sadie

Are you looking for your perfect mate? If so, Sadie is your girl. Sadie likes to snuggle, loves to go for walks and is great on a leash. Sadie is most happy being near her family and other family dogs. She is affectionate and likes her rubs but is not demanding.

Sadie’s owner passed away and she was left without a family. She was really sad at first, but has settled in and perked up. Sadie was slow to warm up but she is so happy with her foster family now. She gets on well with all of her doggy foster sisters. She would like to be friends with the cat but the cat is not fond of dogs. Sadie talks when she is excited. She is not a big barker and while she doesn’t seem to know a number of commands, she is quite a polite girl. She is food motivated so she may be easy to train.

Sadie is quiet and calm in the house but does enjoy chasing the occasional squirrel or two in the back yard and, as soon as you put on her harness, Sadie springs to life for her walks. Sadie absolutely loves daily walks and is super energetic and happy when she is out with you.

Sadie seems to be able to read what is in your soul when she looks at you and might be a good companion dog/ ESA.
